Valia Energía Releases Inaugural Sustainability Report

Mexico City, 5 July 2024 – Valia Energía, a leading private energy producer in Mexico and a portfolio company of Actis, has published its first Sustainability Report (the “Report”). The Report provides a comprehensive overview of the significant progress and initiatives undertaken by Valia during 2023, including the consolidation of an energy platform with an installed capacity of 3.2 GW across 7 assets in Mexico, significantly contributing to the nation’s energy supply.

The Report acknowledges the crucial role of natural gas in the transition to a sustainable energy future. Accordingly, Valia has based its strategy on six sustainability pillars that foster the creation of shared value through operational excellence, social investment, energy transition, diversity and inclusion, integrity, and transparency.
