Mexico City July 18th, 2023 – Miranda Partners and Telekonomics have agreed to join up and offer Economic Consulting through a new entity, Miranda Telekonomics, combining the strengths of the two businesses. The new company will offer economics advisory services to Mexico-focused companies, multinationals, banks and Investment Funds.
Miranda Partners, based in Mexico City, has quickly become a leader in consulting to Mexico-focused large companies and banks on communication, marketing, recruiting and research since its founding five years ago. It currently has about 50 clients, most of whom are listed Mexican and Latin American companies, multinationals, and investment funds. The company currently offers consulting services in Investor Relations, ESG, Media & PR, Global Research, People Advisory, Marketing & Digital Design, Ratings & Financial Advisory, to which Economics Advisory will now be added.
Telekonomics, founded by Dr. Alexis Milo, is a leading independent Mexico-based Economics Consulting firm, and in its 18 months in operation has already advised some of Mexico’s leading companies and international banks on macro-economic and regulatory issues. Alexis will be the new CEO of Miranda Telekonomics. Prior to founding Telekonomics, Alexis was Chief Mexico Economist for HSBC (2016-2021); Chief Mexico Economist for Deutsche Bank (2013-2016); Commissioner of the telecommunications regulator IFETEL (2011-2013); Chief of Staff, Economist and Advisor in the President’s Office (2008-2011). Before that he was a senior official in the Finance Ministry, and economics analyst in Mexico’s Central Bank. Alexis Holds an Economics Phd from Yale University, and Suma Cum Laude from the ITAM in Economics.
