Mexico City, Mexico, May 5, 2021—Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte, S.A.B. de C.V., known as OMA (NASDAQ: OMAB; BMV: OMA), reports that terminal passenger traffic at its 13 airports increased 897.0% in April 2021, as compared to April 2020. Domestic traffic increased 810.0%, and international traffic increased 2,516.7%. It is important to mention that the base of comparison is affected by the decree ordering the suspension of non-essential activities in Mexico.

Terminal passenger traffic decreased 27.9% in April 2021, as compared to April 2019. Domestic traffic decreased 29.2%, and international traffic decreased 17.6%.

Of total passenger traffic, 99.0% was commercial, and 1.0% was general aviation.
