Mexico City, Mexico, November 4, 2021—Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte, S.A.B. de C.V., known as OMA (NASDAQ: OMAB; BMV: OMA), reports that terminal passenger traffic at its 13 airports increased 63.2% in October 2021, as compared to October 2020. Domestic traffic increased 54.4%, and international traffic increased 171.2%. It is important to mention that the base of comparison of October 2020 was still affected by the restriction of activities in Mexico.
Total Passengers*
Terminal passenger traffic decreased 12.9% in October 2021, as compared to October 2019. Domestic traffic decreased 15.4%, and international traffic increased 9.0%.
Total Passengers*
Of total passenger traffic, 99.3% was commercial, and 0.7% was general aviation.
