Mexico City, September 1st, 2025 – Promotora de Hoteles Norte 19, S.A.B. de C.V. (“Norte 19” or the “Company”) (BMV: HCITY) announced that, as part of its efficiency and profitability strategy, it ended the management agreements for five HS Hotsson hotels in the Bajío region on August 31st, 2025.
This decision reflects the Company’s strategy to optimize its portfolio and direct resources to segments fully aligned with its business vision. With this measure, Norte 19 strengthens its financial position, protects operating margins, and allocates resources more efficiently. Importantly, this adjustment does not materially impact the Company’s revenues.
“In this new stage, we are implementing measures that ensure the long-term sustainability and profitability of Norte 19. We thank Grupo Capitali for trusting us with the operation of these hotels, and we reaffirm our commitment to consolidate our leadership in the hotel industry in Mexico and Latin America,” said Eduardo Ymay Seeman, Chief Executive Officer of Norte 19.
Effective August 31st, 2025, the Company will no longer operate the following hotels:
- HS Hotsson Querétaro
- HS Hotsson León
- HS Hotsson Smart León Centro Max
- HS Hotsson Irapuato
- HS Hotsson Silao
Following these adjustments, Norte 19’s portfolio will consist of 149 hotels and 17,157 rooms in Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, and Chile. The Company operates under five brands backed by Marriott International, the world’s largest hotel company, offering differentiated value propositions for business and leisure travelers.
