Grupo Rotoplas, S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV: AGUA*) (“Rotoplas” or “The Company”), the leading provider of water solutions in the Americas, informs the update on the status of its operations during November, period in which activities in all countries where it has presence were continuous.
The administrative staff continues to work remotely. Rotoplas adheres to strict health and safety protocols to protect manufacturing plant operations and field service personnel. All activities with members of the various stakeholders continue to be conducted virtually.
To face the current challenges, Rotoplas, in alliance with the Mexican Red Cross and Harpic developed actions within the Central de Abastos in Mexico City such as the installation of a Field Hospital for the application of diagnostic tests and measurement of vital signs; talks on prevention and hygiene measures; periodic sanitization of bathrooms, installation of hand-washing stations as a sanitary measure and placement of banners with preventive information at key points. This initiative seeks to benefit people who visit the Supply Center every day since it is considered one of the main sources of contagion in the city. It is estimated that 12,000 people have benefited directly as a result of this alliance.
“It is clear that through the synergies between different actors, the best results can be achieved for the benefit of society, this in order to continue fulfilling our purpose of providing people more and better water.” said José Luis Mantecón, Vice President of Human Capital and Sustainability of Grupo Rotoplas.
