VALIA ENERGÍA ANNOUNCES CFO APPOINTMENT

  • Fernando Suárez Gerard, with his extensive experience in senior finance positions, is set to play an integral role in positioning Valia as a key operator in Mexico’s energy sector.

 

Mexico City, 13 May 2024 – Valia Energía, a portfolio company of Actis in Mexico, announces the appointment of Fernando Suárez Gerard as the group’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), with immediate effect.

Fernando Suárez has extensive experience in high-level finance roles, most recently as CFO of BECLE (Jose Cuervo). Previously, he was CFO of Volaris and held a senior finance position at Grupo Televisa. His expertise covers financial management, mergers and acquisitions, transformation processes, capital markets, and corporate finance, among others.
