Vinte Announces Third Quarter 2021 Results

Mexico City, Mexico, October 25th, 2021 – Vinte Viviendas Integrales S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV: VINTE), a leading home builder in the development and commercialization of sustainable homes in Mexico, announced its earnings results for the third quarter of 2021. The figures in this report are expressed in nominal Mexican pesos and are based on internal non-audited financial statements, they were prepared in accordance with IFRS and current interpretations, and may include minor differences due to rounding.

Highlights

  • Vinte’s 3Q’21 results are similar to the previous year, in line with the 2Q’21 earnings release. Compared to 3Q’20, revenue, EBITDA, and net income for the period changed by -2.3%, +0.2% and +0.1%, respectively. The 4Q’21’s revenue is expected to reach historic levels towards a 15% annual revenue growth.
  • Accumulated revenue from January to September 2021 increased by 6.2% compared to the previous year, and are similar to 2019.
  • Vinte temporarily increased its leverage to 3.5x, calculated as Net Debt / EBITDA, and was in line with expectations, with net debt levels similar to those reported in 4Q’19 and 3Q’20. The expected leverage level for the end of the year is 2.6x, based on strong 4Q’21 revenue and a recovery in profitability.
  • Vinte used cash to fund the investment boost, given the Company’s positive outlook for pre-sales and completion of construction work in the fourth quarter of the year, and still maintains a cash balance of 680 million pesos in treasury.
  • Vinte continues to implement its digital strategy; achieving 4,500 sales to date through our digital platform, becoming an important marketing channel where we see significant future potential based on information from current and potential customers.
  • Vinte recently obtained two favorable opinions from independent international experts Pacific Corporate Sustainability (PCS) and Sustainalytics (by Morning Star), certifying that the net resources obtained from the planned stock offering on the Mexican Stock Exchange will be used 100% for the development of sustainable housing communities. This means that the previously mentioned offering would be the first Sustainable Follow-On Offering in Latin America (and one of the first globally).
  • Vinte rated its ESG risk profile with Clarity AI. The results have Vinte within the top 10% for Mexico and top 12% globally. Similarly, Vinte was rated in the ESG top 16% globally by Sustainalytics.
